Compass was born in Holbrook, where a familiar old village pub stood quietly at the heart of the community, full of stories, character, and the kind of history you can’t recreate. What began as a simple idea soon became something more: a chance to protect the spirit of the building while giving it a new purpose for the future.

 

Rather than letting time wear it down, we saw an opportunity to reimagine it with care, transforming it into three high-specification homes that honour where it came from. It was never just about development, it was about doing things properly, staying rooted in place, and building something we could be proud to put our name to.
